“In the morning, I’m always running late, so I typically get up, run straight to class, then I go to lunch.
There’s this newer restaurant called Traditions, and I think it’s really a fun place. It’s always crowded now and everyone’s talking about it. Mostly people go there for the burgers and heroes – they’re both good options. In addition to the awesome food, it’s right on the UCM golf course, so it’s got a really great view – it’s just a good place to hang out with friends.
Another great place is Players, which is a proper sit-down restaurant, though it’s still casual, with a relaxed vibe. I love the atmosphere there, and the food is amazing. If you’re more in the mood for Italian food, I would recommend Mazzio’s. At lunch time, it has this deal where they get you your food within 5 minutes, or it’s free – and I don’t think they’ve ever had to give away the food. The pizza is great there.
I’m usually in a hurry to get between work and school, and I love fast food. Dairy Queen is my favorite – I always get the chicken shrimp basket.
If I’m not working weekends, I like to hang out with my friends around Campus Evolution Villages. We watch football in my apartment or in the clubhouse, or we go to Fitters, which is a cool bar and grill with a lot of flat screen TV’s. It’s more modern than a traditional sports bar, and it has great food and pool tables. It’s always a good time.”
