“It’s very lively here, with lots to do, but it’s also quite a small community, so if you’re walking about downtown, you’ll probably bump into someone you know from class.
I like to go shopping. There’s this one place that I really like, Entourage. It sells women’s clothes, and they’re all really young and fashionable.
If you’re out shopping, then a great place to go for lunch is Groucho’s, which is a deli. There are lots of good things to have there, but usually, I go for a dipper. It’s a sandwich with roast beef, ham and melted cheese, and they sprinkle the top with bacon bits. It’s so good! If you need a coffee, there’s a great Starbucks downtown too. I meet friends there a lot.
When my Mom comes to visit me, we always go out to dinner at this place called J Peters. It’s a family-style restaurant that does pastas, steaks and burgers. We have a really good time there.
If I’m working late in the library, or sometimes if I’ve been hanging out with friends, I go to 3 Spoons on the way home. It’s a frozen yogurt place, where you fix yourself toppings at the toppings bar. It’s a good way to end any night!”
