Campus Evolution Villages student apartments are a short walk from the heart of Campus, close to the Al Harris Library, and just two blocks from the Milam Football Stadium – Go Dawgs! Most residents walk or cycle into Weatherford, though there’s plenty of free parking here if you want to bring your car.

Weatherford is a friendly college town, with plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options. It’s large enough to have pretty much whatever you need, but small enough that you bump into people that you know when you’re out and about.

My Campus Life

“I usually go to the Bulldog Beanery in the Student Union to grab a coffee or hot chocolate before class in the mornings—Pumpkin Spiced Latte of course. The Student Union is also a great place to socialize and do homework as well; always an awesome way to start the day.
If you are busy on campus during the day The Grill is a yummy place to grab lunch. They have a Mexican food bar, burgers and sandwiches, a chicken strip place, and a pizza parlor. This is also in the Student Union and a great place to meet for study groups or for a lunch date. When you have time it is always nice to come home to make lunch or to take a quick nap between classes. Campus Evolution Villages is just a short 2 minutes away from campus.

For a sweet treat and only 5 minutes from our apartment there is Braum’s, a great place to grab ice cream or a yummy burger. Right across the road from Braum’s there is a new frozen yogurt place called Twisted that is kind of like a Cherry Berry. On Main Street there are lots of different types of restaurants to satisfy your taste buds. There is Casa Soto, New Young China, Luigi’s, Downtown Diner, and Benchwarmers to name a few. There are so many different restaurants with all kinds of food that you will never get bored!

My personal favorite restaurant is Lucille’s Roadhouse on Route 66. This is a really fun diner that is based off of an old gas station that was located between Weatherford and Hydro on the old Route 66 Highway. This restaurant has a little bit of everything to choose from.
There are a lot of fun boutiques and shopping fairly close to Campus Evolution Villages. On Main Street, there is It’s All About Moi, In Fine Feather and Nabors Shoe Store. A little farther away there is a Maurice’s and a Rue 21 to satisfy your Shopping addictions. Walmart is only about 5 minutes away so you can pick up all of the things you need for your CEV Home!

For fun I like to hang out with friends and watch movies. There is a Redbox located at the Walmart in town in addition to the movie theater on the west side of town. There is a bowling alley located in town that also gives you something fun to do.”
