“In the morning, I have a tendency to run a little late, so I typically get up, run straight to class, then head to lunch. There’s this great restaurant called Heroes, and I think it’s a really fun place. It’s always crowded now and everyone’s talking about it. Mostly people go there for the burgers – they are so delicious! In addition to the awesome food, it’s right on the UCM golf course, so it’s got a really great view – it’s just a good place to hang out with friends.
Another great place is Players, which is a proper sit-down restaurant, though it’s still casual, with a relaxed vibe. I love the atmosphere there, and the food is amazing. If you’re more in the mood for pizza, I would recommend Papa Johns. Campus Evolution Villages often partners up with Papa Johns and residents are always getting some great discounts. The pizza is great there. Sometimes I crave ice cream and when I do I always go to Dairy Queen.
I’m usually in a hurry to get between work and school, and I love fast food. Jimmy Johns is my favorite; their freaky fast delivery comes to my apartment in less than 10 minutes. If I’m not working weekends, I like to hang out with my friends around Campus Evolution Villages. We usually watch football in my apartment or in the clubhouse, and on some days we go to Fitters, which is a cool bar and grill with a lot of flat screen TV’s. It’s more modern than a traditional sports bar, and it has great food and pool tables. It’s always a good time. During baseball season we watch the games from the Campus Evolution Villages parking lot – that’s how close we are to campus!”
